A few weeks ago I got contract which was suppose to terminate in July got terminated earlier. The excuse the older fart gave me was, "we hired you on for the new program which was launch, and as things are winding down, there is no more work anymore. There is nothing here for you to do that can justify your existence". I gladly took my letter, smiled, went back to my desk deleted all my emails and did a quick email to Madmax, who came over to my desk to ask what exactly my email meant, and I told him I was leaving for good. Send an email to Ms. old boring lady. I packed my belongings, invited the old lonely soul in the bored room, told her what happened, she pretended as if it was a shocker for her- but I knew better. I said goodbye to her. Got the european's lady phone number and left without saying goodbye to anyone else.
Now that I look back, I am glad to be rid of that place anyways. The girls I worked with were boring and pathetic. They were no fun and they all looked like slob including Eve.
